"Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned"
"Hell is empty and all the devils are here"
Refuge recorded a 61% increase in calls to their helpline in 2020/ 2021. BBC news cited Domestic Violence as the ‘epidemic underneath the pandemic’. TUTTI TUTTI aim to make an unavoidable short film that sparks conversation about the lengths people can be forced to go to in toxic situations where the system set up to protect them consistently fails.
The production has raised over £500 for The Lighthouse, who work towards a domestic violence free future, during pre-production with director/ producer Sophia Capasso running the Ipswich half Marathon.
QUE SERA was shot in Suffolk and TUTTI TUTTI partnered with local businesses; The Lighthouse Charity, The New Wolsey Theatre, Renaissance Hair, Suffolk College and Spring Road Pharmacy. Our aim was to engage young people from the area, giving them an insight into film that can make a difference, work experience and potential career paths.
